What are the programmes offered by ViTrox College?

We offer FOUR (4) Diploma programmes:
Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Diploma in Mechatronics, Diploma in Computer Science, and Diploma in Business Studies.

What are the accredited bodies for ViTrox College’s programmes?

The accredited bodies are:
Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA);
Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM / ETAC);
and Malaysia Board of Technology (MBOT).

Do I need language proficiency to apply for ViTrox College Diploma programmes?

Yes. You are required to be proficient in the English language (at least a pass).

What is the duration of Diploma programmes?

It depends on the programmes you enrolled in. 

Engineering Diplomas take two and a half (2 ½) years to complete. 

Computer Science and Business Studies Diploma take two (2) years to complete.

Does ViTrox College Diploma programmes include internship?

Yes. Internships are included for Diplomas in Engineering (6 months) and Diploma in Computer Science (3 months). The internships take place in Year 2, allowing students to gain real-world industry exposure. 

What is special about ViTrox College Diploma programmes?

Specific subjects in the Diploma in Engineering and Diploma in Computer Science incorporate Work-Based Learning (WBL), a practical study approach that enables students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world industry settings. Through WBL, students enhance their communication, collaboration, and professional soft skills, bridging the gap between theory and hands-on experience.

Does ViTrox College offer scholarships and financial aid throughout Diploma Programme studies?

Does ViTrox College offer the opportunity to pursue further studies?

Yes. We have collaborated with multiple established universities, especially articulation collaborations for engineering programs, which can provide ViTrox College students with an academic pathway to further their degree studies in these universities.

Does ViTrox College provide career placement support?

Yes. Our career services officer provides students with career counseling, job placement assistance, and industry networking opportunities.

What are the available student support services at ViTrox College?

ViTrox College provides academic advising and psychological counselling at Mindspace.

Are there opportunities for students to participate in extracurricular activities?

Yes. We have multiple student organisations such as the Student Representative Council (SRC) and Student Ambassadors. We also have societies and clubs such as the TechnoVation Club, Sports and Games Club, and Tzu Chi Collegiate Youth Association.

What facilities are available on campus?

Does the college provide accommodation for outstation students?

Yes. We provide accommodations that are located within strategic locations of Batu Kawan, Penang and are nearby to our campus, which are Vertu Resort, Sinaran Residences and Pangsapuri Suria 1. Explore our accommodation here.

Are there any open day or information sessions for students?

Yes. We have Open Day for students to explore our campus, courses, and campus life periodically. Stay tuned to our social media for updates!

How can I schedule a visit or campus tour?

You can contact us at Whatsapp (016-8329863) to schedule for campus tour/visit. Our campus operates from 9.00am to 5.00pm, every Monday to Friday.
