In line with ViTrox’s commitment to giving back, the “One Person, One Good Deed” (1013) Charity Carnival has become a cherished annual event, fostering kindness, social responsibility, and community spirit. This year’s carnival was especially lively, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of ViTrox College students.
Demonstrating their commitment to social causes, ViTrox College students organized and led various activities. They kicked off with a “Hike for Charity” to Cheng Kon Sze Temple on October 5, inviting employees and students to join. On October 23, student societies and clubs contributed through unique sales booths:
Student Representative Council (SRC): Soya longan pudding and porcelains
Student Ambassadors (SA): Ice pops, jelly, eco-friendly keychains
Engineering Society: Ondeh-ondeh, mini ang ku kuih, green bean soup, bookmarks
TechnoVation Club: Sushi, banana chocolate
Sports & Game Club: Variegated plants
ViTrox College places a strong emphasis on holistic development, aiming to cultivate all-rounded students who excel academically and understand the importance of community contribution. The 1013 Charity Carnival provided an invaluable experience for students to practice leadership, teamwork, and financial management—skills essential for their personal and professional growth.
Through this collaborative effort, ViTrox College students embodied the spirit of compassion, leaving a lasting impact on the community while gaining hands-on experience in social engagement.
