Invited by SMK Valdor, ViTrox College was glad to host an engaging STEM Exhibition and make connections with approximately 250 Form 1 to Form 3 students from the school, on 26 August. The STEM exhibition aims to ignite the students’ interest and passion in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education, preparing them for the digitalized era of Industrial Revolution 4.0.
ViTrox College believes that STEM education is not just about theoretical knowledge but about bringing concepts to life through hands-on experiences. With this in mind, we designed a series of interactive game booths aimed at sparking curiosity and enthusiasm among the students.
The workshops we prepared covered a wide range of STEM topics, each designed to engage the students and provide practical learning experiences:
Light Following Car Demonstration
Grabber Challenge
Pieceful Puzzle (Tangram)
In addition to the hands-on activities, we took the time to explain what STEM education is and its significance. By providing a well-rounded foundation of skills, STEM education equips students to understand a wide range of concepts and thrive in various industries.
One of the highlights of the day was seeing the students' active participation and enthusiasm. It was inspiring to witness their curiosity and eagerness to ask questions. This engagement was a testament to the effectiveness of the workshops and our approach to making STEM education both accessible and enjoyable.
We are grateful to SMK Valdor for the opportunity to share our passion for STEM and look forward to future collaborations that inspire and educate the next generation of innovators.
Together, we’re not just teaching STEM; we’re igniting a lifelong passion for discovery and learning.💡
