ViTrox College recently hosted the Industry Networking Forum Towards Sustainable TVET Education, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM). The forum, chaired by Minister of Education YB Fadhlina Sidek, explored the potential of TVET students under KPM through industry networking and collaboration, reinforcing TVET’s role in shaping a competitive workforce.
Distinguished panelists included Dato’ Chu Jenn Weng (President & CEO of ViTrox Technologies), Dato' P’ng Soo Hong (MSIA Honorary Board Member), YB Sim Tze Tsin (Chairman of the Technology Depository Agency), and Columba McGarvey (Vice President of Dexcom Malaysia). The forum served as a dynamic platform to strengthen industry-academia synergy, fostering long-term benefits for both sectors.
The event also featured the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between KPM’s Technical and Vocational Education Division and nine strategic partners, including ViTrox Technologies/Academy ViTrox, PSDC, and other leading industry players. This initiative reaffirms KPM’s commitment to enhancing TVET education and equipping students with skills that meet industry and national demands.
