Featured and Written by Sinar Harian HERE BATU KAWAN - The Ministry of Education (KPM) is intervening with the industry to increase student involvement in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).


Its Minister, Fadhlina Sidek, said several important programmes have been planned and are being implemented at all levels, including vocational colleges and technical secondary schools throughout the country.


According to him, interventions are being implemented under the education reform agenda and focus on several segments to ensure an increase in the percentage of students in STEM fields.


"The increased involvement of our students in STEM also involves students in vocational colleges and technical secondary schools who take subjects closely related to technical and engineering.
