STEM

Encouraging Science and Technology

ViTrox STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Initiatives serve as the foundational catalyst of our educational ecosystem, dedicated to inspiring the next generation of technological pioneers. Recognising that sustainable innovation begins early, we actively engage primary, secondary, and tertiary students across Malaysia to spark a lifelong interest in tech. Through forward-looking industry-academia partnerships and specialised tech workshops, we transform abstract scientific concepts into exciting, real-world engineering experiences.

Our Involvement

We want to establish a creative place where our kids and next generation gather to tinker, create and make wonders!

First Tech Challenge (FTC)

First Tech Challenge is a programme under the Penang Science Cluster (PSC), where ViTrox College provides our Makerspace and mentorship to support students in robotics.

Tech4Good Challenge

T4G is an annual platform that brings together Malaysia's brightest young minds to showcase their STEM innovations and inventions.

To inspire more female students in joining the engineering and tech field, ViTrox College bridges the gap between students and female industry professionals, by exposing them to the real industry.

Girls in Engineering Tech (GET)
School Visits

To stimulate young minds in the technology industry, we hosted multiple secondary school visits, including a STEM Carnival, to offer students a glimpse into the professional world.

V-Makerspace

At the heart of our community outreach is the V-Makerspace, an innovative playground equipped with advanced tools like 3D printers and electronic instruments. This collaborative hub allows young minds to design, prototype, and build original tech creations under the direct guidance of volunteer ViTrox engineers, R&D experts and lecturers. By stepping outside the office to mentor students in robotics events like the FIRST® Tech Challenge, the Tech4Good Challenge, and university robocon competitions, our engineers help youth bridge the gap between classroom theory and complex industrial design.

Inspiring the

Next Generation

Driven by a commitment to quality, inclusive education and aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, our initiatives are tailored to ensure that future technology fields are diverse and accessible. We place a particular emphasis on empowering young female talents through structured technology workshops and collaborative school programmes. By cultivating curiosity, teamwork, and technical literacy at every educational stage, ViTrox STEM Initiatives are actively planting the seeds for a highly skilled, future-ready workforce.
