ViTrox Welcomes Türkiye Delegation to Showcase the Future of Industry-Led Higher Education

PENANG, 28 APRIL 2026 — ViTrox recently had the distinct privilege of hosting the delegation from the 2nd Joint Committee Meeting of Malaysia-The Republic of Türkiye on Higher Education. Organised by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) in collaboration with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), the visit served as a strategic platform for ViTrox College to demonstrate its industry-led education model and unveil the ambitious vision for the upcoming ViTrox Institute of Technology (VIT).
The event was graced by an esteemed group of international and local dignitaries, led by Malaysia’s Minister of Higher Education, YB Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir, and the President of the Council of Higher Education of Türkiye, H.E. Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar. They were joined by H.E. Mr. Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Ibn Haldun University, and YBhg. Professor Dato’ Seri Ir. Dr. Abdul Rahman Mohamed, Vice-Chancellor of USM. Accompanied by a delegation of government leaders and academic representatives, these key figures engaged in a high-level exchange of insights on the transformative power of industry-led education in reshaping the global workforce.

A primary highlight of the visit was the presentation of ViTrox’s roadmap for the ViTrox Institute of Technology (VIT). Situated within the expansive 50-acre Phase 2 development, the institute represents a pioneering shift in higher education, establishing a tertiary institution born directly from the heart of the industry.
By harmonising ViTrox’s industrial mastery with the academic excellence of MOHE and USM, VIT aims to decisively bridge the talent gap. The institute is dedicated to producing high-value "technology creators" equipped to lead and innovate within the competitive global marketplace.
